The role of the business contact for the partner

Facilitate the management of appointments/business meetings with the creation of a sales contact

In your partner area, you have the possibility to add team members with roles, including the role of sales contact. 

The sales contact is a participant added to the partner record, and becomes the main contact for managing business meetings.
This contact does not have access to the partner area, but manages, if the option is activated, the meetings from his participant area.


Activate the Business Meetings tab in the participant area


➡️ First, check that this contact is registered for the event, so that he can access his personal space (participant space).

When you add a member with the sales contact role, it is not automatically with the status "registered".

From the CMS > go to the participant area > edit the header block > Business contact tab > then activate the "Show business contact tab" option:

Once this option is activated. You can choose to: 

  • Allow sales contacts to contact participants directly. If you enable this option, the "Contacts" tab will appear in your space. 
  • Allow sales contacts to select their own time slots (previously configured). If this option is enabled, sub-options will appear: 

    • Allow sales contacts to create/delete appointment spaces (if you enable this option, new sub-options will be presented)
      • Allow creation of online appointment spaces 
      • Allow the creation of physical appointment spaces

The calendar and contacts tab will appear on this page. 

If you are a sales contact for several partners, you will be able to choose the partner on which you want to manage your appointments by clicking on the small arrow .
