Log in as
Want to see what a participant sees? The 'Log in as' feature lets you safely access their account to provide support or test the platform
The "Log in as" feature allows an administrator or organizer to log in on behalf of another user (participant, exhibitor, or speaker) without needing their password.
This temporary feature lets you see exactly what the user sees in Inwink (web platform, participant area, etc.) to:
-
Verify access to content
-
Resolve login or display issues
-
Test the user journey
-
Guide the user through navigation
💡 Practical example:
If a participant tells you they cannot see a particular session, you can activate the "Log in as" mode on their profile.
To do this:
-
Go to your event back-office > Participants tab
-
Edit the profile of the relevant user
-
Click the 'Log in as' button and choose either the preview or published page, depending on your needs.
-
Check what the participant sees and make corrections if necessary, or guide them through their next steps.
📢 📢 When using the 'Log in as' feature, a yellow banner appears at the top of the CMS to indicate that you are browsing as another user. A 'Log out' button allows you to exit this mode quickly.

-
