Registration Status Update (December 5, 2025)

inwink is improving event registration management to offer you more flexibility and clearer insights.

Registration forms and quotas

Each free registration form can now be associated with a quota to limit the number of participants.

If the quota is reached, two options are available:

  • Close the form: no further registrations are allowed.

  • Enable the waiting list: additional participants are automatically placed in the “On the waiting list” status.

The “On the waiting list” status is a default registration status created to facilitate the management of waiting lists.

New Registration Status

The previous field, “Is registered,” found on a participant record, is now replaced by the “Registration Status” field. This change allows you to:

  • More easily track active participants.
  • Add the “On the waiting list” option for participants on the waiting list.

Rest assured: your settings and data remain unchanged, and everything works as before.

Existing email triggers using “Is registered” will continue to function normally. For new emails, or if you remove the old field, use “Registration Status” for your conditions.

To add conditions, use the “Registration Status” field, which replaces “Is registered.”

Tracking the Number of Registrations

With this system, you can now track:

  • The number of participants registered through each form.

  • Participants on the waiting list, thanks to the new status.

These improvements make registration management more transparent and simplify participant tracking, whether the quota is reached or not.
