What checks should be carried out before the ticket office opens?

 



Publish the ticket office and pricing

In order to open your ticketing, you need to be sure that:

  • your pricing have Preview publication status, at the very least
  • your ticketing page is activated and in preview publication status, at the very least

Once tests are done in preview, you will pass your tickets publication status in Publish and publish your ticketing.



Payment and billing tools synchronization

In order to use your ticketing, you need to synchronize at least one payment tool or one billing tool.
inwink is interfaced with Ingenico and Paypal for online payment.

You can follow steps on the following pages to synchronize these tools:



Create emails

We advise you to create 3 emails with triggers, by following the instructions below :

Sandbox mode ticketing testing

For Ingenico and PayPal, for tests, you need to keep the option "Live" mode activation on OFF

Remain in "Sandbox" mode on the PayPal back-office.


Once those steps checked:

  • Create a pricing at 1€, 1$ or 1£
  • Place an order using this pricing

You need to check that:

  • You receive the automatic email(s)
  • Your order arrives in you order history
  • The status of your order is "Payment validated"
  • Your payment arrive in your Ingenico or Paypal account


Live mode ticketing testing

If used, keep the "Enable Live Mode" option ON for Ingenico or PayPal.

Switch to "Live" mode on the PayPal back-office.

⚠️Attention, when you pass between Sandbox and Live mode on PayPal, the app credentials change. You need to change those credentials on the PayPal configuration module on inwink as well.

Once those steps checked:

  • Create a pricing at 1€, 1$ or 1£
  • Place an order using this pricing

You need to check that:

  • You receive the automatic email(s)
  • Your order arrives in you order history
  • The status of your order is "Payment validated"
  • Your payment arrive in your Ingenico or PayPal account
