Management of Call for Papers and Evaluations

Discover the features of the inwink call for papers module: enhanced Excel export, evaluator management, and evaluation optimization.

1. Advanced Excel Export for Papers

You can generate an enhanced Excel export from papers submitted to a call for papers.

How it works

This export includes standard data, with one column per evaluator and for each field in the evaluation form. It is now possible to export papers from a call for papers using an enhanced export, similar to the global export, but including one column per evaluator with their scores.

Example

If your evaluation form contains the following fields:

  • note1
  • note2
  • commentaireA

And if two evaluators are assigned (Paul and Pierre), the export will include the following columns:

  • Paul: note1
  • Paul: note2
  • Paul: commentaireA
  • Pierre: note1
  • Pierre: note2
  • Pierre: commentaireA

👉 This allows for detailed analysis of individual evaluations directly in Excel, with as many columns per evaluator as there are fields in the evaluation form.

2. Bulk Assignment of Reviewers

You can assign evaluators to multiple papers in a single action.

To do this:

  • Go to the list of papers
  • Select multiple papers (or an entire view)
  • Add evaluators in bulk

3. Improvements to the Papers Grid

New columns

The grid now displays:

  • Evaluators
  • Authors

You can:

  • Filter by the Evaluators and Authors columns
  • Find this information in the Excel export
  • Easily access “Author” and “Evaluations” information by opening the paper details page

4. Conflict of Interest Management (Jury Space)

Score calculation update

  • If a score is not provided, it is now considered empty (null)
  • It is no longer counted as 0 in the average

👉 This ensures a more accurate average.

Conflict of Interest Management

It is now possible to adapt the evaluation form to manage conflicts of interest for evaluators when reviewing a paper.

To do this, in the evaluation form:

  • Add a checkbox: “Conflict of interest”
  • Configure conditional display:
    • If the box is checked → scoring fields are hidden
    • Scores are not entered

Result

  • Scores remain null
  • They are not included in the average

👉 This ensures compliance with ethical guidelines while maintaining consistency in calculations.
