Create a paid ticket for session access
The Session Access ticket allows you to sell access to a specific session through the ticketing process. It is an additional product used to monetize certain sessions (upsell logic).
Creating the ticket
Create a ticket of type “Session Access” in your event back office, in the Sales > Tickets section.
Fill in the following fields:
- Name (of your ticket)
- Ticket type (here, “Session Access”)
- Linked product (the session to associate with the ticket, in order to make it paid)
- Quota (optional)
- Publication status (must be set to “Published” to be visible on the website)
- Price + VAT
➡️ The fields are the same as for other ticketing products. Complete them according to your needs.
Each ticket is linked to a single session:
- 1 ticket = 1 session
- It is possible to create multiple tickets for the same session
Quota management
The quota defined on the ticket corresponds to the maximum number of items that can be sold:
- If a quota is set, sales are limited to this number
- As long as the quota is not reached, the ticket remains available for purchase
- If no quota is set, the ticket is available in unlimited quantity

Ticket display
To be available for purchase, the “Session Access” ticket must be added to the additional products in the ticketing configuration.
It is displayed only at the Participant information step (third step of the registration process).
As an additional product, it does not appear in the initial ticket selection step.
Purchase rules
- The ticket is purchased for a specific participant
- It must be linked to a ticket (main product)
- It cannot be purchased independently (only through the ticketing flow)
- It is an additional product

Quota behavior
For a Session Access ticket, only the quota defined at the ticket level is taken into account. Any limitations configured at the session level (quota or maximum number of registrations), even if set, do not apply in this case.
A session is therefore:
- either free (quota managed at the session level)
- or paid (quota managed via the “Session Access” ticket)
Where to find this purchase
Once the purchase is completed, it is available in the participant’s personal space, under the “My orders” section.
The participant will also be able to find this session on the "My agenda" page.
