      Strictly necessary cookies inwink

      In order to guarantee an optimal experience to your website visitors, inwink installs cookies on their browser. These so-called "technical" cookies are considered strictly necessary and do not require the consent of visitors to be installed.


      1. Cookies installed on your websites managed with inwink



      These strictly necessary cookies concern the visitors of your websites managed with inwink. Some of them will be present in all cases, whether visitors are anonymous or authenticated, others only once authenticated. 

      1.1. Cookies installed by your websites



      inwink installs in all cases only one strictly necessary cookie:

      • iwuid :
        • Description: anonymous cookie to improve real-time communication with servers and traffic statistics.
        • Duration : session
        • Category: strictly necessary cookie
        • Data : anonymous ID 


      Any other cookie installed on the browser of your website visitors is a third party cookie that could be linked to your analytics service and/or iframes installed on your website.



      1.2. Cookies set by authentication (logged in user)

      inwink installs additional cookies on the browsers of users of your websites when they log in with their account.
      These cookies are strictly necessary to ensure the security of your website users' personal data.


      These are divided into two categories:

      • cookies deposited on your website's domain; if you do not use custom domain names, they will be on the generic domain events.inwink.com,
      • the cookies deposited on the authentication service site (domain auth.inwink.com) which manages the authentication as well as the creation of accounts and the password recall.

      Note that some cookies have their name variabilized via the term "<variable>"; this corresponds to a unique short code specific to your inwink audience.


      1.2.1 Cookies from your websites (domain names of your sites or events.inwink.com)

      • id.<variable>:
        • Description: cookie used to keep the authentication of the connected person
        • Duration: 14 days
        • Category: strictly necessary cookie
        • Data: encrypted user identity information



      1.2.2 Authentication site cookies (auth.inwink.com)

      • <variable>-Identity.Application:
        • Description: anonymized cookie used to maintain authentication (federation allowing SSO for the different sites of the same audience) 
        • Duration: 14 days
        • Category: strictly necessary cookie
        • Data: encrypted user identity information

      • iwctx:
        • Description: cookie used by the server to facilitate reconnection and password recall (pre-filling of the e-mail address previously entered)
        • Duration: session
        • Category: strictly necessary cookie
        • Data: encrypted authentication email address


      • .AspNetCore.Antiforgery.<suffix> :
        • Description: anonymized cookie used to limit cross-site request forgery attacks (XSRF/CSRF); note that it will be mandatory on sensitive pages with a submit form. The "<suffix>" is a generic short code unique to all sites, composed of a sequence of alphanumeric characters that can change (for example iy28k2-WSv0).
        • Duration: session
        • Category: strictly necessary cookie
        • Data: anonymous ID



      2. Cookies installed on the inwink backoffice


       

      These cookies only concern the administrators of the backoffice (my.inwink.com domain) and are only intended to monitor its proper functioning.



      • ai user :
        • Description: cookie deposited by Application Insights (telemetry service) allowing inwink to have knowledge of the loading errors of your sites in order to make corrections ; it allows to make the link between several sessions made by the same user (cf. cookie ai_session)
        • Duration: 1 year
        • Category: strictly necessary cookie
        • Data : Anonymized technical logs



      • ai session :
        • Description: cookie deposited by Application Insights (telemetry service) allowing inwink to have knowledge of the loading errors of your sites in order to make corrections
        • Duration: 30 minutes
        • Category: strictly necessary cookie
        • Data : Anonymized technical logs




      Please note that the site preview (preview.inwink.com domain) will behave like a normal website, and will therefore use the same cookies as when visiting your site (see §1).
