Root community
Create and configure a root community and its domain.
Creation steps
- Create the root community
From your back office, create a community that will serve as the root site. This community will host your content, events, and landing pages.

- DNS
In the DNS configuration, redirect your domain to the root community, whether it is published or not.
Access: Audience > Domain names

Special case:
If you already have an existing root site, you can duplicate some free content blocks from your current root site.
To display your events, you will need to manually add them to the new community.
In the DNS configuration, update it by clicking to migrate to the root community.

Redirect configuration
The DNS migration process automatically creates redirect entries in the target community.
Access: Website & App > Webmaster > Redirects
Publishing the community
Once the community has been created and configured, remember to publish it.
Points to watch
URLs will change to reflect the new structure:

After
/e/ for an event
Example: https://events.inwink.com/e/event-paris-2025
/c/ for a community
