inwink lets you create an online event from scratch, or transform an existing physical event into an online event.
Create an online event from scratch
When creating an event, you will find an Event type section in Your event's information step:

Select one of the following options :
- Physical event if your event is a physical event only
- Online event if your event is an online event only
- Physical and online event if your event will take place physically and online at the same time
If you're not sure yet whether your event will be a Physical event, an Online event or a Physical and online event, select the most likely option. As explained in the next section, inwink lets you change the event type of any event if need be.
IMPORTANT : depending on the type of event you select, dates and times will be displayed differently.
- For a physical event, dates and times will be displayed in the same timezone as the event
- For a Physical and online event, dates and times will be displayed in the timezone of the event, and the timezone will be specified. For instance, if the event is in UTC timezone and starting on July, 5 at 10:00 am, this date and time will be displayed in the following way: July 5, 10:00 am UTC
- For an online event, dates and times will be displayed in the timezone of the device your visitors use.
Change the event type of an existing event
If your event already exists, and you want to change its type, log into the Back-Office of the event, and go to the General Information menu.
You will find an option to change your event type of the event. Select the right option for your event, and click on SAVE at the top right corner of your screen.
