Allow participants to upgrade their status via the ticketing system
Offer your participants upgrade products so they can change their participant category after registering.
🎯 Objective
This feature allows you to offer participants an upgrade product to change their status.
Thanks to the “Named badge – upgrade” pricing, you can sell specific access levels (VIP, premium, etc.) while automatically updating the participant’s profile.
⚙️ Setup
1. Create the upgrade pricing

Go to your event back office, open the Sales > Pricing tab, and create a new pricing type: “Named badge – upgrade”.

Select the participant category to apply for this pricing.
👉 Example: VIP -
Change the publication status of this pricing to “Published” so it appears in your ticketing system.

2. Add the product to your ticketing page

Add this pricing to your ticketing system as an additional product in the participant form:

💡 This product is added on top of what the participant has already purchased.
Both prices will then appear in the order summary: the initial price and the upgrade price.
Once the order is confirmed: the selected category (e.g., VIP) is automatically applied to the participant.
You can also find this product in your personal account, under the "My Orders" tab.
